✩˚。⋆Crockpot/soup Recipes⋆。˚✩

Crockpot Chili from family
2 can Black Beans
1 can Kidney Beans
1 can Northern Beans
1 can Pinto Beans
1 can Sweet Corn
1 large can Crushed Tomatoes
1 small can Petite Diced Tomatoes

3 Packages McCormick Mild Chili Seasoning
Half Jar Jalapeno Juice

Cook in crockpot on low, stir till beans are soft

Taco Soup from friend
1 lb Ground Turkey
1 can Kidney Beans
1 can White Northern Chili Beans
1 can Black Chili Beans
1 can Sweet Corn
1 can Diced Tomatoes
1 can Rotel Tomatoes & Green Chilies

1 packet Taco Seasoning
1 cup Water

Brown ground turkey & drain the fat. Add in all ingredients, bring to a boil then reduce heat & let simmer for about 30 mins.



Thai Peanut Chicken + Noodles from here
1 ½ pounds boneless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
⅔ cup peanut butter
½ cup chicken broth
3 medium zucchini, diced
2 medium red bell peppers, cut into thin strips
⅓ cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon bottled minced garlic
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 tablespoon lime juice
½ tablespoon cornstarch, or more as needed
½ tablespoon water, or more as needed
1 (12 ounce) package linguine pasta
1 tablespoon chopped peanuts

Combine chicken, peanut butter, chicken broth, zucchini, bell peppers, soy sauce, minced garlic, and sugar in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on High for 1 hour. Stir, then cover and continue cooking until chicken is cooked through and vegetables are tender, 2 to 3 more hours. Stir in lime juice.

If sauce is thinner than you would like, combine 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch (use a full tablespoon if sauce is very thin) with enough water to form a paste. Whisk paste into the peanut butter sauce and allow to cook until thickened. Taste and adjust seasonings if desired.

Meanwhile, fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil. Cook linguine at a boil until tender yet firm to the bite, about 8 minutes. Drain and stir noodles into the chicken and sauce. Garnish with peanuts.

Simmered Sweet Potato & Apples from here
1 Japanese Sweet Potato
1 apple
3 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 1/2 cup water

Cut the sweet potato into 1″ thick rounds. Soak in water for 5 minutes.

Cut the apple vertically into quarters and cut away seeds and core. Cut into smaller pieces.

In a pot put the potato, apple, and add water to cover. Add the sugar and lemon juice. Cover with the parchment paper and cook at medium heat to bring to a boil. Turn down the heat and simmer for 20 minutes.

Banana Milk from here
1 ripe banana, sliced or broken into pieces
1/2 cup regular milk
1/2 cup water
1 Tbsp maple syrup
A small drop of pure vanilla extract

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and has milk like consistency. Serve immediately.
